Cassius - I Love U So

The Rawker E.P., hosting a song that currently sits at my top 10 list, came out earlier this month. Nonetheless, a video just emerged that has caught my eye solely because of this freaking app. Such an epic app (that apparently doesn't work with 3G!!!). There are actually two bands with the name Cassius but this one consists of two french producers. They came up with the name back in '97 which goes to show how old these fellahs are. Which also goes to show that there's no limit on the ability to consistently pumped out great music. Big ups. Side note: one year ago today I was walking around Amsterdam. If you've been, you know how glorious of an experience I had. On that note, I'd like to wish you a very glorious halloween.

Brand New SKRILLEX!

His style and ability is one of kind it's incredible how musical this guy is. He rips on piano and then he rips up the keys like it's nobody's business, arpeggios smacking me in the face. It's a trip. The songs. They take you for a ride seriously, try one. Back with some new Skrillex. In honor of his last night on tour with the med dau5 I have chosen some favorites. Go pick up his music in HQ on beatport while it's still there!

THE BLOODY BEETROOTS

This is the first post I've ever made about the Bloody Beetroots so I'll give you a little background info and go from there. They're a duo out of Vicenza Italy with a crazy weird style. They've recently swapped their name out for Death Crew '77 and have been cranking out some just crazy gnarly music. I never know where they're going with their music next. Recently they've been coming out with some super good remixes and I like where they seem to be headed. Here is song off of their first LP Romborama. Fucked From Above 1985. I'm pretty sure it's about a girl. Comment, let me know what you know.

Next Level Electro

Easy, difficult, hard, legendary, you name it, this guy has beaten it left-handed eyes closed. Such a nerd on the track launcher but it sounds so good! Wolfgang Gartner Push & Rise "loving & living & fighting & falling & flying, growing & playing & praying & pushing & rising" If I could write music, this is what it would sound like.

Wiz Khalifa Exclusive

Somebody came up to me today and was vibing on this song right. He was like "yo, I love Wiz. All he does is smoke weed and tell everyone what's good." I just nodded like yup you got that right man. He loves weed and he loves his music. You never know what to expect from him musically and it's what makes me keep wanting to hear more. He was a small fish in a big bowl and now everybody knows his name. Wiz Khalifa. If I had to choose a hip-hop artist to support it'd be be Wiz.

My 88 Dream

Being a product of '88 I have pride in this song. Luckily for all of us the power of the synth has endured decades and here you hear it today. If you haven't heard these Futurecop! remixes yet, you should get on top of it. Here's a rather powerful remix you won't be finding on Beatport. Bringing arpeggios like woah. Making the game seem eeeeasy. DAZE. Bound to see more from this guy in the future. So much energy.

AAAAIIIIRRRR

As a listener, I find it kind of confusing to see where this group is intending to take me with their remixes. Most of them leave me wanting to chuck my computer at the wall. BUT with this particular one (which seems to be blowing up on the Hype Machine right now), they really kind of demonstrate their ability to produce something worth the time out of my day to listen. I really, really dig the bit of distorted/reverberated guitar in the first section. I'm certain that you'll be hooked.

Really, Run It.

Oh right, it's friday. So when you're on this road called life and it's winding around and winding around and going over some hills and dodging squirrels. Somewhere along the way take a min and just think about your dreams. To be honest, there is nothing in life more important than a solid dream. That is exactly what this track is all about. Keeping it alive. "We gotta keep this fire." PRECISELY. Fatty Bar 9 remix.

Now, For the Moment You've All Been Waiting For...He's Sonny Moore

Back when I was a young buck, I used to listen to this band called From First To Last. Then one day Sonny Moore (lead vox) just bounced and started another project. It was a pretty epic project but unfortunately it was short lived. Then, BLOWE! CAUTION: Skrillex. ALERT: Take precaution before pressing play. From the filthiest of the filthy corners of the earth Skrillex came to his existence in the filthiest one. Sonny has officially gone from screamo/hardcore to Dubstep at its primest. From shitty ass venues to touring with Deamau5 right this very moment. Choppy and synthy and it's dirt. Dirt! Get your dirt hear! Dirt! Good price.
