Star Slinger

For those of you that aren't familiar with Star Slinger, he pioneered the trap movement.  You should check out some of his old remixes, just google 'Star Slinger music' and his remixes will pop up.  He has some very cool, dynamic songs.  Including this new one...dynamic for sure.

Homework

How's this remix of Chet Faker's 1998 by Homework?  Most colorful, if you ask me.

Rainer, Grimm and Mozambo

So I went dark for a little while...I still hoarded great music but I wasn't public about it.  In the past, I typically posted something that I knew was good and fresh within moments after having heard it for the first time.  That being said, it has been difficult choosing songs to share with you.  I have a ton of good stuff in my collection but some of it was released months ago and I don't like sharing something if I'm suspicious that it has already graced your minds.  That being said, here are a couple songs you may have heard before...but these versions? Well, that I'll never know.

p.s. If you ever want a playlist I'll burn a disc for you and get it over to you! It could be my little gift for checking in. Cheers!

Bahamas

On the verge of Portugal. The Man, Passion Pit, or Grouplove is Bahamas.  Have a listen to this song All The Time.  If you like harmonies and cheaky guitar riffs like me, I think this song will convince you to buy their album when it releases middle of next month.

If you dig Chet Faker, Disclosure and what Symbols Records is putting out be sure to check back tomorrow.  Tootl-oo

Burnin' Souls Never Give Up

Alborosie provides the cleanest roots rock since The Wailers, Peter Tosh, and Jacob Miller.  Shuffle his music on Spotify, you'll be surprised how many great songs he has. And if you like reggae, you'll probably hear some songs you've jammed out to before.  If he ever comes to the states you won't want to miss that show.

Secondly, Popcaan...a Jamaican dancehall artist who recently released Where We Come From - pure gold from start to finish.  You can stream it all for free here.  Happy listening!

We Dem Boys

Thanks to Jonny Alexander (IG: jonnyalexander) and his mad streak of ridiculously cool art, my page has a new look and I have new-found fire to start the old machine back up again.  Since its conception in 2011, this page never got a ton of hits but one thing it has done from the beginning, is bring you heat. Effective immediately, I'm gonna start serving it up again.

Jump on and ride with me for some good music.  Add it to your collection or just tune in every now and then.  I do it for you.
